This 1 bedroom and 1 bath apartment on the second floor of a 5 unit building is in a desirable location in the Horace Mann Neighborhood of San Jose right by the San Jose State University campus and only a few blocks to great restaurants and entertainment.

This light and bright apartment is being offered for $1000 per month on a 1 year lease as a smoke-free environment to tenants who have no dogs. There is plenty of shared extra storage. Hot water is included. There is a common coin-operated laundry facility. We require that residents maintain renter's insurance.

The large living room and generous bedroom have hardwood floors. The eat-in kitchen has a gas stove and oven and a refrigerator. Comcast cable is available with connections for TV and high-speed internet.

Rental is to the first applicant who meets the necessary income, credit history, rental history and employment verification requirements after screening through Credit Bureau Associates (see http://cbacredit.com/about_cba_faq.html) and agrees to the terms of the contract. Our screening fee is $39 for each occupant 18 years of age or older (please see How to submit and pay for your Rental Application).

• Fill out the 2 page APPLICATION TO RENT completely. A separate application is required from each occupant 18 years of age or older.
• Fill out section 2 and 3 of the RENTAL APPLICANT REFERENCE FORM. Please fill out a separate form for your current address and each of your previous two rental addresses (if applicable).
• Fill out section 2 and 3 of the EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION FORM. Please fill out a separate form for your current and your previous employer (if applicable).
